Una vez mas, la entrega de premios mas popular del mundo, se presentará (pese a la prolongada huelga de escritores) el 24 de Febrero, y en comparación de otras entregas, esta es mas heterogenia y sí tiene coincidencias con algunos festivales internacionales como Cannes.

Algunas de las grandes ausencias, son en categoría de mejor película y mejor director, son A TRAVES DEL UNIVERSO –que solo está como vestuario- y EL BARBERO DIABÓLICO DE LA CALLE FLETE, en donde sí esta como mejor actor Johnny Deep y en otras categorías, pero volviendo a ignorar al genial Tim Burton. Ignoradas completamente, El amor en los tiempos de cólera, y Cometas en el cielo. Pero sin embargo, las estupendas cintas, Petróleo Sangriento de Paul Thomas Anderson, y Sin lugar para débiles de los hnos. Cohen acaparan un buen número de categorías.

Otras que se merecen el lugar son Ratatouille y otras son sobreestimadas, como la buena pero sencilla Encantada, tiene tres nominaciones en una sola categoría (mejor canción).

Afortunadamente se nominó 3:10 Misión peligrosa, la comercial pero estupenda Bourne: el ultimátum y en efectos visuales no podía faltar la exitosa Transformers, la fallida pero espectacular Piratas del Caribe III Y la no tan exitosa pero buena La Brujula dorada.

Y la sorpresa es que se volvió a nominar en documental al excelente y polémico Michael Moore por el documental Sicko. Quizá no gane. Y no fueron incluidas las que casi se sentían en la nominación, El Orfanato ni la sobrevalorada Luz Silenciosa.
Pero como sea, aquí están las ternas.
